 for expat

Hi! I'm glad you decided to join this adventure.

This calendar contains short daily tasks that will help you ease into your new life, cope with the stress of unfamiliar surroundings, and, most importantly, get to know yourself in new circumstances.

Our goal is to support you as you adapt to a new country, help you overcome your fear of the unknown, and feel confident and proud of your small (and big!) victories.

Tasks of 3 types:

The point is to make adaptation an active and interesting process through small and safe steps, and to begin to notice the small joys in your everyday life.

Body - to relax, relieve stress, restore inner balance and prevent burnout.

Reflection - to become aware of your emotions, learn your strengths and learn to support yourself.

You've probably already noticed that the numbers on the calendar are randomly scattered. Find the right date, read the assignment for it, and complete it. You can mark completed tasks somehow to avoid getting lost in the numbers.

It's okay if you complete a task out of order or put it off for a day. Our goal is to enjoy the process, not create additional stress.

Please note: some tasks contain links containing additional useful information to make the calendar more engaging. Also, pay attention to the footnotes (*)—these are explanations for the tasks.
